Little Eliette, lovingly called Miss E or Ettie, completely stole the spotlight immediately. As a sydney family photographer, sessions like this fill my heart every time. Bree and Christian arrived carrying warmth, laughter, and beautiful new-parent energy. Meanwhile, little Ettie arrived ready to inspect absolutely everything within reach.
From the moment they entered my cosy Ashfield studio, joy filled the room. Eliette’s curious little eyes explored every single corner carefully. Additionally, her tiny hands reached toward props, blankets, and camera equipment fearlessly. Thankfully, she ignored the expensive lenses that day.
Bree and Christian were absolutely glowing throughout the entire session together. Every smile carried pride, love, and complete adoration for their daughter. Moreover, their laughter became instantly contagious inside the studio space.
Watching new parents interact with their baby always feels incredibly special. However, the Cai family brought an extra layer of warmth and playfulness. They laughed naturally, cuddled constantly, and embraced every little unpredictable moment.
Eliette especially loved being the centre of attention during the session. Honestly, she already behaved like a tiny celebrity. One minute she quietly observed the room thoughtfully. Then suddenly, she flashed the sweetest cheeky expressions imaginable.
As a photographer, moments like these remind me why this work matters deeply. Capturing genuine family connection feels far more meaningful than perfect posing. Therefore, I always encourage families to relax and simply enjoy themselves.
The most beautiful photographs happen naturally without forced smiles or awkward directions. Fortunately, Bree and Christian completely trusted the process from the beginning. Consequently, every image felt authentic, emotional, and wonderfully alive.

Sessions like this always leave my studio feeling full of warmth afterwards. Although, I sometimes need several minutes recovering from toddler-level energy. Thankfully, baby cuddles remain excellent workplace benefits.
Photographing the beautiful connection between Bree, Christian, and little Eliette felt like an absolute privilege. Their images now hold memories filled with laughter, tenderness, and endless love. Honestly, little Miss E completely ran the show beautifully.
