As a Sydney maternity and newborn photographer with over 15 years of experience, I create a calm, comfortable space at my cosy, sunlit studio where your story unfolds naturally.

Newborn sessions that are calm, gentle, and baby-led.
My studio is kept at a cosy 25°C to ensure your little one feels snug and content. Before we begin, I encourage a feed and fresh nappy to help your baby settle, and we take as many breaks as needed throughout. You will be offered privacy during feeding time.Every session moves at your baby’s pace - never rushed and always guided by comfort and care.
I’ll gently capture the tiny details you’ll never want to forget - the soft lips, delicate wrinkles, and those precious first connections between you and your newborn. My approach is natural, safe, and filled with warmth, because these moments deserve to be remembered just as they are.

FAQ
When is the best time to photograph my newborn?
The ideal window is between 7-20 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy, curl up easily and stay settled. But beautiful images can be created at any age as each stage has its own charm.
You definitely get to be in the photos! Along with capturing tiny movements and the little featurettes of your newborn, I love to showcase those tender moments of first connection between you and your baby.
Will the photos be of our newborn only or do we also get to be in them?
How long does the photoshoot take?
Sessions usually last 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and cuddles. All newborn sessions are baby led so everything moves at your baby’s pace and level of comfort.
All my newborn sessions take place at my boutique Ashfield studio. It is thoroughly sanitised prior to every session and is kept at a balmy 25C throughout - dads get your shorts on, I know we run hot ;)
A change table is also provided for convenient nappy changes.
Where does the photo shoot take place?
Upon booking, I send out a professional styling guide that has all the information on getting you and your partner looking dapper at our session.
I also have a curated collection of soft wraps, rompers, bonnets and blankets. You’re also welcome to bring something meaningful from home.
What should we wear? Do you provide wraps and blankets for our newborn?
How do we best prepare our baby for the shoot?
A full feed and fresh nappy before arriving helps your baby settle comfortably. My studio is set to a cosy 25°C to keep them warm and content throughout.
What if my baby doesn't settle or fall sleep?
That’s completely normal. It's a myth that the best photos of a newborn are when they're asleep. If they're still awake after trying to soothe them to sleep after a feed, we will create equally precious photos of them with you showcasing your precious connection.
Mums have often nicknamed me as "baby whisperer" halfway through a session, so rest assured that I'll work on gently settling your baby
When do we get to view our photos?
The edited photos will be ready within a week to 10 days of your portrait session. You will be invited back to my studio to view your images on my 120" screen. I will also guide you through the process of ordering any artwork or digital images packs of your liking.
I am unsure what artwork product works for my home. Can you help?
During your viewing session, I’ll show you true-to-scale mockups of how your chosen artwork will look on the walls of your own home. With a little help from AI magic, I can create realistic previews — all I need from you are a few photos of the wall spaces you’re considering. It’s the perfect way to see exactly how your memories will come to life in your space.
Do you have a pricing guide for the artwork and digital collections?
I most definitely do. You can explore my range of artwork on here. Prices start from $275 for desktop frames
What is your cancellation policy?
All my shoots have a session fee of $200 which secures your booking with me for your chosen date. I allow for one instance of rescheduling as long as it's not on a weekend as they are very popular
